collab Collaborative Ventures is a Charlotte North Carolina based business networking organization that promotes business diversity, education and technical assistance not only for its members, but for other entrepreneurs and professionals in the greater business community as well. It was the brainchild of Mark Williams, Jeffrey L. Green, and Luther Carter, Jr.

Our primary objective is to help our members grow their businesses.

Collaborative Ventures supports Johnson C. Smith's Business Incubator

At a recent CV meeting the programs Director Ron Stodghill explained the program:

The Smith Institute Executive Professorship was established at Johnson C. Smith University in 2012 to provide a critical bridge between the academic and business communities. The mission of the SEP is to foster relationships with seasoned business leaders that bolster the preparedness of JCSU’s students to thrive in the “real world” of business. Smith Institute Executive Professors are highly successful entrepreneurs and upper-level executives from local, national, and multi-national businesses. Each SEP may serve for at least one semester, being able to serve for up to five years, and commit to mentorship programs and fundraising.
